Summary
· We do not accept returns on the basis of a change of mind.
· Returns are only accepted where an item materially differs from its listed grade and condition description.
· All disputes must be raised within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.
· Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
Our Position on Returns
source:set specialises in retired, graded, and often irreplaceable LEGO® sets. Each item is individually assessed, graded, and described in detail prior to listing. For this reason, we operate a restricted returns policy — not to limit your rights, but because
the nature of our inventory makes speculative or casual returns unworkable for both parties.
We ask that you review the grade, condition notes, and photographs carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions about a specific item prior to purchase, contact us at support@sourceset.online and we will respond promptly.
Eligible Returns
A return will be accepted where:
· The item received materially differs from its listed grade and condition description.
· The item received is not the item listed or ordered.
· The item arrives damaged in a manner inconsistent with its listed condition.
In all cases, the dispute must be raised within 48 hours of confirmed delivery. We are unable to accept return requests outside of this window.
Ineligible Returns
We do not accept returns where:
· You have changed your mind after purchase.
· The item matches its listed grade and condition description but does not meet personal expectations beyond what was stated.
· The 48-hour dispute window has passed.
· Packaging has been discarded following a damage claim.
· The item has been handled, assembled, or altered in any way after receipt.
How to Raise a Dispute
If you believe your order qualifies for a return, contact us
within 48 hours of confirmed delivery:
1. Email support@sourceset.online with your order number and a clear description of the issue.
2. Attach photographs of the item and outer packaging, including any visible damage.
3. Do not return the item until you have received written authorisation from us. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
We will assess your request and respond within 2 working days.
Authorised Returns
Where a return is authorised:
· We will provide a return shipping label via DHL Express.
· The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, using the original or equivalent packaging.
· Returns must be dispatched within 3 working days of authorisation.
source:set reserves the right to decline a refund where an item is returned in a condition inconsistent with the original dispatch.
Refunds
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days of the returned item being received and inspected.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases of error on our part.
We do not offer partial refunds or store credit as a default resolution. Where agreed between both parties, alternative arrangements may be made at our discretion.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives visibly damaged in transit, please refer to our Shipping Policy for the correct procedure. Transit damage claims are handled separately from condition disputes and are subject to DHL investigation timelines.
Do not discard any packaging. Photographs of both the outer packaging and the item are required to support any claim.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation. If you are unsure of your rights, you can seek independent advice from Citizens Advice or Trading Standards.
